Return to the Royal Welsh • After a two-year lapse due to Covid, the 2022 Royal Welsh Show was an event looked forward to with keen anticipation. In common with other shows this year, entries were down in many sections, a trend that may continue as costs escalate. Ian Rennison reports.

Young drivers fly the flag • Six drivers their families, grooms, and trainers headed out to Hungary to take on Europe’s finest, and as Amy Mundell reports this young team have plenty to be proud of, particulary in the marathon.

Warmest of welcomes • From Tismans Farm on the borders of Surrey and West Sussex, to Mostyn Hall in Wales, both provided ideal settings for a weekend of competition and camaraderie.

All the fun of the fair • The BDS National Driving Championships were held on the 2nd-4th September in conjunction with Chatsworth Country Fair in the magnificent surroundings of Chatsworth House in the Derbyshire Dales. Event organiser Julie Elliott reports.
